Revo Uninstaller
Since I review and use plenty of freeware, I sometimes come across programs that are not worth my time, so I have to then uninstall them. What better utility to do this than Revo Uninstaller. It is an excellent tool I have installed in all my computers.
According to the authors of this program: “Revo Uninstaller helps you to uninstall software and remove unwanted programs installed on your computer even if you have problems uninstalling and cannot uninstall them from ‘Add or Remove Programs’ control panel applet”.
Revo Uninstaller has way too many features, but I can tell you what it does for me. Anytime I am done (for good) using a program installed in my computer, instead of running the built-in uninstaller of each program, I run Revo Uninstaller, which in turn scans the application I wish to get rid of and then presents me with the regular built-in uninstaller.
Once the basic un-installation is done, Revo scans the registry in order to find old and useless entries created by the program I intended to delete. Because of this, is best to have Revo Uninstalled before any other applications are installed in windows. I realize this is near impossible in windows, but Revo is one of the first pieces of software I install on my computers whenever I must format or if I completely restore the system. Highly recommended!
The filesize of this program (at this moment) is around 1 megabyte, but besides that, the most important thing is that thanks to Revo, my system registry stays clean and free of old and unused entries that with time, tend to slow down any computer.
